INDOWISATA LANGUAGE COURSE

 Following the sucess of Indowisata, we are offering more In-Country Language and Culture trips.

During the term school holidays, Dani Darudana and Maurice Sawyer offer an intensive short course in Bahasa Indonesia.  A course can be developed at any time during the year for interested groups.

The course is held in Yogyakarta, Central Java and is available for year 10 students* to adults at any language level, from very beginners to advanced teaching level.  If your school requires a custom developed course please contact us.  Numbers on Indowisata courses are limited to ensure one-on-one language development.

 Over the course you will be tutored one-on-one by both undergraduate students and lecturing staff from one of the major local universities as well as experienced Lecturers from Perth

 You will be given practical tasks to do with your tutor and develop real language skills based on every day activities.  Through these tasks you will develop a deeper understanding of both the language and the culture than would normally be possible.

Some of the highlights of the course are:

 *       Return Airfare from Perth - Yogyakarta - Perth via Jakarta or Denpasar depending on airline timetable and options taken.  (You may extend your stay if you wish)

 *   Full accommodation for seven nights at the 4 star Yogyakarta Plaza Hotel, or similar with breakfast included.  Another option is to stay with local families, in a "homestay".

 *   Two formal evening meals and 5 lunches

 *   Visits to Borobudur, Imogiri, Kotagede, Pasar Beringharjo, Kraton and other places of interest around Yogya. (all entry fees covered)

 *      Visits to local schools for possible longer term relationships

*         Experienced Indonesian Lecturers from Perth.
